The dynamic force that is Mella Dee & Reuben G team up once again under their new SY Rockers moniker with a fresh pack of high fidelity dub-techno groovers. Hot off the heels of their debut EP release, the long-time friends present their second outing SOYO Dubs Vol. 2; this time round leaning heavily into their dancehall and dub sensibilities, presenting three club creations that carve out their own space with style and a no-nonsense attitude that wears its historic rave roots on its sleeve.

'Caller ID' kicks off this stellar package with an infectiously groovy dub-techno masterclass. An air-shifting bassline rumbles under shuffling hi-hats and rolling snares, whilst nostalgia evoking vocal samples echo around the brain.

'Situ' doubles down on this winning formula, switching the 4x4 kick for a skipping heavyweight rhythm that cuts through a haze of sirens, meandering sinewave melodies and dubbed out harmonies, making for a tantalizing club cut that dancers will find hard to resist.

'Doom In Dub' rounds out proceedings with a bang, taking the tempo down but lifting the energy even higher. Reverberating synth swells and dub sirens clash head on with earth-shattering kickdrums and guttural saw waves making for a colossal dancehall production.
